Elizabeth B. Bradley has over twenty years of experience representing employers and federal contractors in employment law before state and federal courts and agencies, as well as counseling and training private, public, and non-profit employers in all aspects of employment law.
Ms. Bradley has extensive knowledge and experience in counseling employers related to the equal employment opportunity obligations and the development of legally compliant diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
Ms. Bradley has a broad-based practice counseling and representing employers on compliance with federal and state workplace laws and regulations and designing and implementing sound employment practices and policies in accordance with Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and comparable state and local statutes. Ms. Bradley has broad experience in conducting effective investigations of workplace claims and grievances, including misconduct, discrimination, retaliation, harassment and other claims employers typically face. She has been called upon by clients to conduct corporate internal investigations on sensitive employment matters, including allegations of serious misconduct and sexual harassment charges involving executive personnel. In addition to conducting workplace investigations, Ms. Bradley provides guidance and legal advice to clients handling their investigations in-house. Ms. Bradley has drafted investigation policies and procedures, and sexual harassment and other EEO policies for employers and has counseled employers about their responsibilities under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and other EEO laws.
Prior to joining FortneyScott, Ms. Bradley represented and counseled employers in labor and employment law matters in private practice. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald L. Buckwalter on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Ms. Bradley is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania, as well as in various federal courts.
Michael Aamodt

Michael G. Aamodt, Ph.D., an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, is a Principal Consultant at DCI in the Compliance and Workforce Analytics Division. He provides consulting services to employers and management law firms on a wide variety of human resource risk management issues, particularly in the areas of compensation analysis, employee selection, and test validation. For 26 years, Dr. Aamodt was a professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Radford University in Virginia, where he taught courses in employee selection, job analysis, employee training and development, organizational psychology, and forensic psychology.
Dr. Aamodt has published over 65 journal articles and book chapters and presented over 160 papers at professional conferences. He is also the author of “Industrial/Organizational Psychology: An Applied Approach,” the author of “Research in Law Enforcement Selection”, the coauthor of “Human Relations in Business,” and the coauthor of “Understanding Statistics: A Guide for I/O Psychologists and Human Resource Professionals.” He has extensive editorial experience, having served on the editorial boards of Applied HRM Research, Assessment Council News, Criminal Justice and Behavior, Journal of Business and Psychology, Public Personnel Management, and Journal of Police and Criminal Psychology.
Dr. Aamodt is a past President of the New River Valley SHRM chapter and a member of many professional organizations including SIOP, SHRM, and IPAC. Dr. Aamodt has a Ph.D. and M.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. He received his B.A. degree in Psychology at Pepperdine University.
Dr. Gerlind Wisskirchen

Dr. Gerlind Wisskirchen is a partner and lawyer specializing in Labor, Employment & Pensions at the international law firm CMS in Germany and advises multinational corporations in particular on restructuring, national and international employment law and compliance issues.
Gerlind Wisskirchen specializes in advising international groups, providing added value through analytical expertise as well as precise and strategic recommendations. Her endeavors extend beyond simply providing legal advice. She and her team are performance-driven and creative and strive to forge workable and strategic client-focused solutions so that businesses can achieve their business objectives. Part of this advice is project management, thus understanding the relevant factors, defining the goals, selecting the best methods and tools, and precisely implementing the set objectives. Gerlind advises multinational groups with a focus on restructurings, national and international labor and employment law and compliance issues. Acting as a strategic advisor to the management or serving as advisory board member, she assists with the development of business plans and strategies from an HR and labor and employment law perspective. As an expert for the digitalization of the workplace, she has published the “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and Their Impact on the Workplace” report for the Global Employment Institute and testified as expert before the German and European parliament.

Gerlind is member of the CMS Global Executive Committee and board member of the CMS Employment & Pension Group.
Gerlind is a regular moderator and panelist at national and international conferences on the legal issues of international HR management and on issues of cross-border labor and employment law, such as the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Employment Law Council. She is a lecturer for the MBA program “International Human Resources Management” at Cranfield University, UK, one of Europe’s leading Business Schools, and has published numerous articles in German and in English.
From 1991 to 1995, Gerlind worked for two US law firms before joining the international department of the German Federal Ministry of Finance. She joined CMS in 1998 and was made partner in 2003.
