This week marked an exciting milestone as HR Policy Association officially became the CHRO Association! This change reflects our powerful community of CHROs and their teams, where belonging and expertise come together to strengthen the CHRO’s role as a strategic business leader.
New website debuts: The public launch of the brand coincided with the debut of the Association’s new website, chro.org. We encourage you to explore its modern, professional design and enhanced features, including a more intuitive user experience and substantially improved search capabilities.
New brand and Center on Workplace AI featured in HR Executive: HR Executive Magazine ran an exclusive article on the rebrand.

Nickle LaMoreaux, Chair of our new Center on Workplace AI, noted the Center will focus on information sharing, public policy, and practice: “In this age of AI, there is not one practice that is true for all companies, but we need a place to share all of our practices so we can all learn from one another.”
-
Tim Richmond, the Association’s Executive Chair, explained, “Just as the role of the CHRO has evolved, the Association reached a point where its name didn’t fully represent who we are and the role we play.”
-
CEO Tim Bartl added, “We want to embrace this moment and the new role of the chief HR officer in the business ecosystem.”

We are thrilled to launch this new brand and the expanded resources it brings to our members and partners.
