Kevin Cox is the founder and president of LKC Advisory, a leadership advisory firm partnering with CEOs and CHROs to maximize the full potential of organizations and their leadership teams. LKC Advisory focuses on CEO succession, leadership team effectiveness, cultural transformation, and advisory services to both CEOs and CHROs. Through his work, Kevin helps senior leaders navigate the critical intersection of strategy, culture, and talent to achieve enduring business results.

Kevin brings over 25 years of global leadership experience and perspective. Prior to founding LKC Advisory in 2024, Kevin was Chief Human Resources Officer of General Electric, following distinguished tenures as CHRO of American Express and the Pepsi Bottling Group. His career spans three different industries, each marked by business transformation and sustained cultural impact. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Kraft Heinz Company.

Known to many as “The Dean of CHROs,” Kevin led the development of the Model of a World Class CHRO, a framework widely regarded as the definitive guide to maximizing the value and impact of the CHRO role. He is an Executive Fellow at the Cornell Center for Advanced Human Resources Studies (CAHRS) and a Senior Strategic Advisor at the Center for Executive Succession (CES). In 2024, Kevin was named the 18th Distinguished Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), the profession’s highest honor.

Earlier in his career, Kevin founded both the Health Transformation Alliance (HTA) and the Center for Executive Succession, initiatives that continue to shape the future of organizational leadership and workforce innovation.

Outside of his professional work, Kevin is known for his eclectic taste in music and is an instrument-rated private pilot. His diverse interests and disciplined curiosity reflect the same commitment to excellence and exploration that defines his approach to leadership, advisory work, and life.
