Thirukkumaran (Thiru) Nagarajan is the Vice President and Head of HR for IBM APAC. He is responsible for the people strategy, leadership, skills, engagement, employee services, and diversity & inclusion of the workforce across the APAC region.
With over 20 years at IBM, Thiru brings deep expertise across market-facing and international leadership roles. In his recent tenure as the VP and Head of Human Resources, IBM India & South Asia, he played a vital role in driving growth across the region—expanding into emerging cities and building impactful skilling partnerships with industry and academia. A strong advocate of IBM’s client zero approach to AI-led HR transformation, Thiru’s leadership has been instrumental in cementing IBM’s position as a Top Employer 2025 in India.
