Wendu leads institutional sales and business development for the Northeast Region within Goldman Sachs Ayco’s Workplace Advisory Solutions function. In this capacity, Wendu oversees all aspects of the corporate client acquisition strategy for the region, in addition to working with clients to implement and promote Goldman Sachs Ayco’s financial planning services at various levels of the organization. Wendu also leads the NY Client Engagement Pillar for the Disability Network and serves on the Asset Wealth & Management Culture Council’s Growth Committee.
Wendu initially joined the firm as an Analyst in the Margin Lending department in 2007 and rejoined the firm in 2021. Prior to rejoining the firm, Wendu served as EVP & Head of Large Account Sales at InvestCloud, a cloud-based financial technology provider. Before that, Wendu served as the Wall Street Liaison Officer for the UK government’s Foreign Office, in the aftermath of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. In this capacity, Wendu was responsible for maintaining key financial sector relationships for purposes of facilitating high-level discussions on financial policy and trade.
Wendu is a Charter Holder with the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) and serves on the Advisory Board of The King’s Trust USA.
Wendu earned a BS in Finance from Rutgers University in 2004 and an MBA from Rutgers Business School in 2008.
