Faten Alqaseer
Senior Managing Director, Teneo
Faten Alqaseer is a Senior Managing Director at Teneo, based in New York. Faten provides counsel for companies as they navigate evolving stakeholder expectations around a range of social issues. Faten specializes in global issues management, long-term remediation and business transformation across a broad range of industries. She has extensive experience advising some of the world’ largest brands developing and executing tailored Inclusion strategies that align with business priorities and enhance company performance.
As a leader in Teneo Ventures, she directs investments in early-stage enterprise solutions that use technology to improve the way companies do business. Faten is responsible for scaling and commercializing portfolio companies in subsectors that include recruiting, employee engagement and sustainability.
Prior to joining Teneo, Faten co-founded an EdTech start-up in Bahrain to deliver career development services. She started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she focused on growing the Company’s MENA Central Bank and Sovereign Wealth Fund business.
Having worked across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, Faten is an expert in cultural norms across continents and is fluent in Arabic. Faten holds a M.B.A. in Management, Business Economics and Public Policy from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Cornell University.
Tim Massa
Executive Vice President and Chief Associate Experience Officer, The Kroger Company
Responsibilities
As executive vice president and chief associate experience officer of The Kroger Co., Tim leads all areas of HR and Labor Relations including Total Rewards, Labor Relations, Diversity, Business Unit Human Resources, People Operations, Training and Development, Talent Hiring, Retention and Engagement, Corporate Affairs, Associate Communications, Shared Services and Aviation.
Experience
Tim joined Kroger in 2010 as vice president of Talent Development. He was promoted to group vice president of Human Resources and Labor Relations in 2014 and was appointed as Chief People Officer in 2015. He was promoted to senior vice president in 2018. Prior to joining the company, he served in several HR leadership positions over 21 years at Procter & Gamble. Tim has an extensive global HR generalist background in leadership development, succession planning, performance management, strategy development, employee communications, culture, engagement and change management.
Recognition
Tim is on the Board of Directors for the CHRO Association where he also serves on the Board Selection Committee and the PRT Executive Committee. He also is a member of the the Center for Executive Succession Advisory Board at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business and the Global HR Leadership Experience (GHRLE) Advisory Board. In 2024, he was named a National Academy of Human Resources Fellow.
In his home city of Cincinnati, Tim serves on the American Cancer Society Cincinnati Chapter Executive Committee and was a 2021 American Cancer Society Cincinnati chapter honoree. He also is a member of the Cincinnati Zoo board of trustees, the city of Cincinnati Workforce Innovation Center advisory board, and the John Stuart Society at the University of Dayton.
Education
Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from The University of Dayton. Tim also received an Executive HR Leaders accreditation from Cornell University.
Personal
Tim and his wife, Lisa, live in Hyde Park, Ohio and have one daughter working in Advertising and another daughter in Private Wealth Management.
