Marie drives the Association’s strategic initiatives, shaping how the organization leverages knowledge and insight to deliver value to CHROs and senior HR executives. She oversees programming, thought leadership, and member-facing initiatives across platforms. Her work spans from high-level strategy to hands-on execution, ensuring that events, content, and learning opportunities provide clear, relevant, and actionable value to members. A trusted advisor to the leadership team, Marie plays a key role in making sure the Association’s work reflects its mission and resonates with members.
With the Association since 2010, Marie has contributed significantly to its growth and evolution with a rare blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and institutional knowledge.
Previously, she led marketing and creative strategy for a specialty food and cookware store, a state-of-the-art cooking school, and its James Beard–nominated restaurant. Marie earned a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completed post-baccalaureate studies summa cum laude at Living Arts College in Raleigh, NC. A lifelong musician, she plays in a community orchestra and teaches violin lessons for fun.
