About the series
The EU Pay Transparency Virtual Masterclass Series is a six-session program designed for CHROs and senior HR leaders at multinational companies preparing the EU Pay Transparency Directive. The series provides a practical, end-to-end roadmap, from understanding legal requirements and data expectations, worker categorization, performance and benefits considerations, and communication with employees.

Panelists Include

Wenchao Dong
Senior Director, Global Practice and Policy, CHRO Association
Wen Dong joined CHRO Association in September of 2020. She currently leads HR Policy Global, a premium program for HR Policy members, providing information and insight on key international trends and developments. She is also responsible for member engagement and research.
Prior to HR Policy, she was the International Labor Relations Manager for Walmart, where she specialized in global employee and labor relations. Her other experience includes various HR positions with TRW Automotive in Detroit and PetroChina in China. She received her degree of Master Public Administration from the University of Louisville.

Jen Hupp
Vice President Human Resources, Total Rewards, Avery Dennison
Jen Hupp is Vice President of Human Resources, Total Rewards at Avery Dennison, based in Ohio. She has held the role since November 2022, leading the company’s total rewards strategy, following her role as Global Senior Human Resources Director, Corporate and Total Rewards.
Hupp has spent more than nineteen years at Avery Dennison across a series of progressively senior human resources roles. From March 2020 to April 2022, she served as Global Senior Director, Human Resources, acting as Global HR Business Partner to Corporate Finance, IT, Law, Communications, and Strategy & Ventures. From June 2018 to March 2020, she was Senior Director of Human Resources for Label & Graphic Materials North America, where she developed and drove HR strategy for the business and led an HR team supporting 18 sites and roughly 2,400 employees.
Earlier in her HR career at Avery Dennison, Hupp was Director of Human Resources / Global HR Business Partner (2014–2018), serving as the HR business partner for Marketing and R&D and leading HR for Finance, IT, and Procurement; Senior HR Manager, Commercial Functions (2013–2014), partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service and serving as global HR lead for Sales Excellence; HR Manager, Operations/Supply Chain and HR Process Improvement (2012–2013); and Human Resources Manager for Sales, Marketing and R&D (2007–2012), where she supported the Engineered Films plants and the Sales, Product Technology & Innovation, and Customer Services teams.
Prior to that, Hupp spent seven years in commercial and engineering roles at Avery Dennison.
