Kat brings deep experience from the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors in her role assisting colleagues at the Association with publications and communications.
Previously, Kat edited, wrote, and designed for newspapers, magazines, educational curricula, corporate communications, and marketing materials and also performed quality assurance testing for software apps, websites, and e-courses. In addition, Kat served as an editorial supervisor at Educational Testing Service and a Business Manager at St. Mary’s University School of Law, working with students on law journals.
Kat graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in art.
